Cancellation Policy

Make-up classes

  • Gloucester Pottery School does not substitute or provide make-up classes.
  • If you miss a class, you may book and pay for a one (1) hour private lesson

Cancellation policy for class or workshop enrollment

  • For all class refunds requested, an Admin Fee of $25+HST will apply even if refund is credited to your account.
  • No refunds are given unless the request is made 24 hours before the 1st class is due to commence. The only exception is for the participant’s personal medical reasons for which a doctor’s note must be presented and then the refund will be prorated and the admin fee will be charged.
  • Refunds will be processed within 21 days of the refund request.
  • No refunds are given for specialized Professional Workshops, where an outside artist is brought in to present.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or postpone any program or activity due to low enrollment or inclement weather. A full refund will be provided for cancelled classes and every attempt will be made to re-schedule postponed classes.

Cancellation policy for private lessons

  • If a student wishes to reschedule a private lesson, notice must be given at least 24 hours before the lesson is due to commence, otherwise the lesson will be charged.
  • There are no refunds or credits for private lessons.

Refunds for purchased goods: for clay or toolkits

  • Refunds will be issued within 30 days of purchase. Unused item and proof of purchase receipt must be presented in order to receive a refund.

Returned cheques

  • An admin fee will be imposed for all returned cheques and could result in refusal of future participation.
